We at Happy Herbert's firmly believe that companies should give back to their community (local, national and world). That is why we are committed to donating 10% of our pre-tax profits to charities that help needy children. One of our strongest motives to grow is to increase our annual contributions. Happy Herbert's mission is to spread joy throughout the world and there is no better place to start than with children in distress.

We recently changed the focus of our giving from large, international charities to small, grassroots organizations where a higher percentage of our donation ends up as actual relief aid versus payment of overhead expenses (administrative, fundraising, etc.). Our dollars have a far greater impact on a small, local charity...we get more smiles for our buck.

An example of a charity we have donated to is Hope North, located in Uganda. Hope North provides a safe haven and vocational training for children that have been subjected to unspeakable horrors resulting from a brutal civil war. After watching video taken at the Hope North campus one cannot avoid being inspired by the smiling faces and optimism exhibited by the children there.
